The original shopping center was called, somewhat whimsically, Casa View Hills, which opened in 1953 (the drawing seen below). By activating the exterior with street-facing shops, OMNIPLAN's design transformed Fashion Centre into an attention-grabbing shopping center. This upscale retail center needed an inviting and active entrance in this bustling neighborhood.
